New Students Registration Package

Thank you for choosing to register your son/daughter at Miraj Islamic School. To facilitate the registration process for your son/daughter at Miraj Islamic School for the (2014-2015) academic school year, the following are enclosed in your package:

2. Financial guidelines
3. Application Instructions
4. Emergency Contact Form (upon acceptance)
5. Uniform List (upon acceptance)

The fees for 2014-2015 are:

Registration $200 due in April
Miscellaneous Fee $200-due within 10 days of acceptance
September Tuition 2014 varies-due in Sptember 2014
June Tuition 2015 varies- due in September 2014
Book Fee varies-due in September 2014
Annual Dinner Tickets $400 due before dinner events
Tuition varies- according to grade- per month


Please be informed that registration will be open from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grades starting April 1, 2014 and it will be on a first come first serve basis since seats are limited.

A registration application form is included in the registration package. Please completely fill out both sides, sign the form and return it with the $200 (non-refundable) registration fee.  The Registration form will NOT be considered without the registration fee.

All fees must be paid directly to Miraj Islamic School. If your child is accepted to MIS, the following fees are due within 10 days of acceptance: Miscellaneous Fee. (The fees are non-refundable). In addition, your child will not be accepted without submitting required documents. Book Fees and June’s tuition for 2015 are due in September 2014 (The fees are non-refundable). In addition, MIS families are required to purchase or sell a minimum of 8 adult annual dinner tickets before the annual dinner dates otherwise the $400 will be added towards your tuition.

**** MIS families are required to purchase or sell a minimum of 8 adult annual dinner tickets before the annual dinner dates otherwise the $400 will be added towards your tuition.

***Additional adult tickets may be purchased for $50 and $20 per child.

  • School hours are from 7:40 a.m. to 2:45 pm.
  • All students are expected in the school before 7:45 a.m.
  • Please be advised that frequent lateness is unacceptable.
  • 3 late days is equivalent to 1 day of absence.
  • Doctor’s note is required for excused absence.
  • 16 absences during the school year will warrant demotion.
